The Northern Plains Trucking approach to safety and the environment can be summed up in three powerful statements:

Northern Plains Trucking - Pilot Car

Northern Plains Trucking provides extensive cross-training to our employees. In addition, employees are thoroughly trained to identify and assess potential risks through a behavior-based safety process. The NPT working environment encourages employees to communicate any safety concerns to management at any time. Every employee has been given the authority to stop a job at any time if work conditions are unsafe or if a particular action would be environmentally harmful. The ongoing goal is to achieve employee ownership and participation in the Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) continual improvement process.

Flowback TanksThe focus of Northern Plains Trucking on quality operations management underpins our health, environmental and safety commitment. This ensures that clients receive excellent, efficient, and incident-free service. Northern Plains Trucking has a HSE Management System that was developed by and reflects the input of each of its business units. Employees are trained in-house by qualified facilitators in a customized training program where they gain a comprehensive understanding of HSE expectations and requirements.

Winch Truck and Frak TankNorthern Plains Trucking measures effectiveness of its HSE Management System through regular site safety audits, corporate business unit audits, customer audits and regulatory audits. All employees, including management, participate together during on-site safety audits and safety meetings. During these processes, employees have the opportunity to provide direct feedback about on-going improvement initiatives. Our commitment to safety is incorporated into every facet of NPT's operation. As a result of this effort, NPT has demonstrated continual statistical improvement year after year.

We are committed to the environment, in both word and deed. All units within Superior Energy comply with corporate policies, domestic legislation, regulatory codes and industry best practices. Environmental management and corporate responsibility are fully recognized, acted upon, and fully enforced.
